TOPIC : Making Cyber Resilience Accessible for Every Filipino Organization
SYNOPSIS :
As the Philippines moves faster into digital transformation, cyber risk is growing at the same pace.vGovernment agencies, banks, universities, cooperatives and mid-sized businesses all face the same threats. Few of them have the people, budget or round-the-clock capability to defend against those threats. That gap is where digital inclusion breaks down. Organizations that can't secure their digital services can't scale them with confidence.
In this 30-minute session, TRENDS MICTS and Consulting Services will show how a service-led model makes enterprise-grade security available to everyone, not just large enterprises. The talk covers four areas:
• Managed Security Operations: 24x7 monitoring, detection and response delivered as a service. It replaces the large upfront investment of building an in-house security operations center (SOC).
• Global standard process alignment: Aligning security operations, governance and service delivery with internationally recognized standards and proven practices to improve consistency, interoperability and continuous improvement.
• AI in service delivery: How AI-assisted triage, automation and analytics make response faster and more consistent. Human expertise stays in control of decisions.
• Proactive assurance: Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT), compromise assessment and digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) readiness. These help organizations find weaknesses before attackers do.
• Governance and compliance: Turning frameworks such as the Data Privacy Act, ISO 27001, NIST CSF and the CIS Controls into practical, measurable cyber maturity.
The session draws on real engagements with Philippine financial institutions, the public sector and academe. Attendees will leave with a practical roadmap from reactive security to resilient operations, plus a clear view of where outsourcing makes sense and how to measure what they get for it.
Key takeaway: Cyber resilience shouldn't depend on company size. Delivered as a service, it becomes a foundation for inclusive digital growth.
